1. There is something with every number

Mathematics has played a very important role when it comes to solving problems related to different fields of study, from complex calculations to easy ones. Here is a paradox related to it:

PARADOX: since we know that , 1 is the first non-negative odd number,

2 is the first smallest prime number,

3 is the first odd prime number,

4 is the smallest composite number, like that when we move on to the next numbers we stop at a point where a number is not unique in any way which makes that particular number unique from the others and so on .

2. Motion is impossible

Motion is impossible!! you heard it right , just think motion to be evaluated in a single instant of time(zero seconds), lets see the paradox!!

PARADOX : If time were made up of instants , then motion happening in any particular instant would mean motion doesn't happen at all.

this is called the "arrow paradox" in a book written by Kevin Brown ,theory of relativity says that objects moving in different speeds appear differently for wide range of observers and hence have different perceptions of the world around them.

3. Word Problem!!

Hetero-logical meaning is a word that does not possess the characteristic it describes.

PARADOX: If there is a word that didn't describe itself, then it would describe itself, but if it did describe itself, then it is not a word that describe itself.

this is called Russel Paradox

4. Rabbit and tortoise

PARADOX: let us assume that a rabbit can run 500 meters every 50 meters tortoise can move , which means for 500 m rabbit runs 250 m tortoise will move, 125m rabbit runs 12.5 m tortoise moves and so on this process continues again and again over a infinite series of smaller and smaller distances where rabbit always moving forwards while tortoise catching up.
